Reject the Exxon Sell-Out Settlement

The Christie Administration’s announcement of the Exxon settlement created a true New Jersey outrage. A company that had polluted thousands of acres of New Jersey’s environment, that was liable for up to $8.9 billion and was about to face a judge’s decision, instead got a sweetheart deal of a settlement of only $225 million. We only have a few more days before Friday’s comment deadline to tell the Department of Environmental Protection to reject the settlement and to go back to court to fight for our environment.
