RGGI money should go to the places that need it most

Cities tend to have high levels of air pollution because they are located near travel corridors and have significant truck and bus traffic. Diesel buses and trucks emit high levels of toxic air pollution that causes serious health impacts, especially in communities with heavy traffic.

To reduce these public health impacts and clean up the air, New Jersey needs to transition to electric vehicles, especially electric trucks and buses. The state needs to use the proceeds from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative auctions to electrify city fleets.
