Tell Rep. Sherrill to act on climate

Global warming is fueling extreme weather, warming our planet and creating ecological harm. In order to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, we need bold and immediate reductions in carbon pollution. We have the solutions -- we need to increase our use of clean, renewable energy; we need to expand public transit and transition all our cars, trucks and buses to run on clean electricity; and we need to use less energy.

To preserve a livable climate for future generations, it is urgent that Congress pass a bill that makes the big, bold and ambitious investments needed to tackle the climate crisis; significantly reduce fossil fuels and its pollutants; and accelerate the transition to clean, renewable energy. To meet this moment, to heed the science, and to make good on President Biden’s pledges, Congress must act now to reduce the worst impacts of climate change on our environment and our communities.
